ABOUT

I scale AI design organizations and build evaluation frameworks that make AI feel trustworthy, explainable, and human.

I'm Aswathy , a UX design leader who pairs systems-level strategy with a designer's obsession for the human detail, built around the hardest problem in AI: getting people to trust it. For 15 years I've led enterprise and industrial AI design at Siemens Technology — the high-stakes systems where adoption hinges on trust, not features.

I built Siemens' AI UX practice from the ground up, scaling the team and setting the culture and quality bar behind it. And I made AI quality measurable — creating a evaluation methodology now used as a shared standard across Siemens business units. Across all of it, I'm the connective tissue between a  strategy and the pixels on the screen, building the frameworks, teams, and metrics that turn powerful models into tools people rely on every day. Today, I keep pushing the edge of AI experience — prototyping with AI itself and bringing new ideas to life in code.

What I Do

Problems I solve

01

Problem

Design is treated as an execution arm, disconnected from strategy.

Solution

Aligning UX strategy with business reality.

I translate usability into the language of the business. That means framing UX decisions in terms of risk, revenue, and operational impact—so design has a seat at the table, not just in the sprint.

02

Problem

AI products automate before they earn trust — and adoption stalls.

Solution

Designing AI that earns trust.

Adoption of a probabilistic system is a trust problem, not a feature problem. I design flows, explanations, and guardrails that help engineers understand what the AI is doing, why, and how to course-correct.

03

Problem

Experience fragments across complex, architectural platforms.

Solution

Systems thinking at platform scale.

I simplify architectural ambiguity. With 15 years in industrial software, I map journeys across tools, roles, and touchpoints—so the platform feels like one product, not ten stitched together.

04

Problem

Whether the AI actually works for users stays invisible.

Solution

Making AI quality measurable.

Most teams can't tell you whether their AI experience is ‘good’ beyond anecdotal feedback. I build evaluation frameworks and UX metrics that make AI quality visible, trackable, and improvable.

05

Problem

Teams misalign, quality erodes, and momentum stalls.

Solution

Building design cultures that scale.

I'm the connective tissue between a VP's strategy and a designer's Figma file. I set up rituals, artifacts, and decision frameworks that keep teams aligned as they scale AI work.
